Henderson United Methodist Church
Building a multicultural community in Beloit.
Welcome to Henderson Avenue United Methodist Church in Beloit. We are a small, warm congregation who believes in the power of God to bring about the good. Come and share God's love with us.
Keeping the Faith in the Coronavirus Season
God is with us. Yes, we are in a frightening and uncertain time. The coronavirus is a serious threat and has already caused thousands of deaths and many serious illnesses.
But do not be afraid. God still provides. Trust in God. Live carefully, according to the advice of medical experts. Obey the guidelines set by our state government. Pray not only for yourself and loved ones, but for everyone threatened and afflicted by this dread virus.
The Henderson United Methodist Church congregation is in prayer with and for you.
If you are in need of prayer, text Pastor Gibson at 608-509-6832 or e-mail your request to the Henderson UMC congregation at beloithendersonumc@gmail.com.
What We Believe
We believe in the presence of a higher power, God, who is accessible and who desires to be in a loving, empowering relationship with all persons. We believe God to be the source of our life, the ground of our being. We believe that those who trust in God can live fully and can face the challenges of life with the means to bring about good outcomes. We believe God loves us and you as well.
